The Rangers announced Monday afternoon they had agreed to one-year contracts with forwards Austin Rueschhoff and Turner Elson and defenseman Andy Welinski.

Rueschhoff, 24, returns to the organization after playing 59 games with AHL Hartford last season, scoring 14 goals and 10 assists. Elson, 29, played two games with the Detroit Red Wings last season but spent most of the season with Grand Rapids of the AHL, scoring 21 goals with 24 assists in 73 games.

Welinski, 29, played last season for the AHL Stockton Heat, the top minor-league affiliate of the Calgary Flames. He scored three goals with 16 assists in 39 games, and had one goal and five assists in 13 playoff games.
