Brad Richards "banged up", not practicing
With 11:37 left In the second period last night, Richards was tangled up with Matt Cooke in the Rangers zone and dumped (no call). Richards fell on his back, hit his head on the ice, stayed there for a few seconds and looked at the refs, arms up as if asking why there was no penalty. He played later in the period and 2:38 in the third period.
The league reviewed the play, and determined that no supplemental discipline was required.
The center, 31, has not missed a game this season. The Rangers leave for Boston after practice.
