BREAKING: Sean Avery clears waivers
Avery is headed back to New York, and team eventually will assign him to the AHL. He reportedly would like to play elsewhere in the NHL or Europe. Defensemen Stu Bickel and Brendan Bell have cleared waivers as well. One will be sent to NY as well. Rosters must be set by 3 p.m. ET tomorrow.
