Del Zotto has hernia surgery
If you missed my tweet, Michael Del Zotto underwent hockey-related hernia surgery today, a procedure that comes with a 3 to 4 week recovery period, the Rangers said.
Del Zotto scored two goals and nine assists in 47 games with the Rangers this season. He was sent down to Connecticut (AHL) twice this season, once in January and a second time in February. After suffering a hand injury, Del Zotto missed the end of the AHL season and the playoffs.
