High noon in Motown...

        ...for Rangers on the bubble here in Detroit, as the third game of the pre-season, at 5 p.m. looms.

           The lineup:

           G: Biron, Johnson

           F: Gaborik, Frolov, Stepan, Dubinsky, Avery, Boyle, Zuccarello, Grachev, Prust, Anisimov, Christensen, White

            D: Girardi, Valentenko, Semenov, McDonagh, Sauer, Gilroy.

            Note: No Rozsival, assume they are being cautious with him.

            Also, with cuts coming after the game, it's possible that the head coach and the front office have formed an opinion on some players, such as Exelby, Williams, Newbury, Byers, Weise, Eminger, one way or another, because the next game is Wednesday.  Of course, they will have another look today at Valentenko, McDonagh, Sauer on D and Grachev upfront. The only AM skate was for the non-game players and my flight landed a little late so I couldn't scramble there in time. We will be speaking with the coach at 2:30 however....
