Jeremy Williams recalled, possible sub for Prust
Williams, 26, a right wing who played 31 games for the Maple Leafs between 2005-06 and 2008-09 and was 9-2-11, has been recalled from Hartford, according to the AHL. Williams could be insurance if Brandon Prust cannot play tonight after taking a high stick in the right eye from Greg Campbell in Boston late in the second period Saturday night.
Presumably, Williams (4-2-6 in eight games with the Wolf Pack) would be on the fourth line with Derek Boogaard and either Brian Boyle or Todd White against the Devils at the Garden....
