John Tortorella likes Derek Dorsett's spunk

For the second consecutive game Saturday, Rangers coach John Tortorella chose to bench Brad Richards and Arron Asham, and deploy Derek Dorsett, Kris Newbury and Micheal Haley, known more for their energy and chippy play than offensive ability.
Dorsett played just 3:51, and collected 11 minutes in penalties, including seven in a fight with Shawn Thornton in the first period.
"He's going to be a really good player for us," Tortorella said. "I'd rather have him at that level, not being able to control himself, than a couple of players on the team I can't get to a level. It's much easier to have a player to try to tame him, rather than build a player up."
Forward Rick Nash, who had just one goal in the two series, said he wasn't injured. "It's heartbreaking," said Nash, who had two shots and four attempts blocked Saturday. "We have a good team, good season, and we couldn't get the job done."
