Rangers re-sign forward Julien Gauthier

The Rangers have re-signed forward Julien Gauthier to a one-way, $800,000 contract extension, the website CapFriendly reported Friday evening.
Gauthier, 24, played 49 games for the Rangers in the regular season, scoring three goals and four assists.
In the playoffs, he appeared in three games, and did not score. He would have been a restricted free agent.
