Marian Gaborik, Vinny Prospal, Chris Drury on Olli Jokinen

                  Apologies for just raw quotes, but I'decided to rather just get this out there than be fancy at this point in time....

Vinny Prospal, who played a half-year with Jokinen in Florida when he was a rookie: “He was just starting there, then he just took off, racking up a lot of goals, I played against him quite a bit in Tampa . He was hot against us; hopefully he can regain his scoring touch here….He’s been scoring a lot over the years. He had some trouble scoring this year, but he can fly with the puck. (The grit) is something we need from everyone. It helps, especially on our line.”:

Marian Gaborik, who played in the West while Olli was East : “I don’t know that much about him but….it’s gonna be a different look, hopefully we can click and he’ll be a big part of our team. He’s a strong center, high-scoring, should be a good combo. Hopefully (chemistry’s) not going to take that long. He’s a strong guy who finishes his checks, he can definitely put the puck in the net and on the sticks as well.” 

Chris Drury: “We can’t just rely on Gabby every night. (Jokinen)’s been around the block. He’s proven…He has a heckuva shot, he always can open up for one-timers. Even though he’s big, he’s a good skater and can find the holes, and he’s pretty good on faceoffs.”
