Meltdown at Mellon, Dubinsky, Gilroy
The Flower wilted and the Pens couldn't recover. No doubt the Pens still have a solid core, especially down the middle, but they have eight UFAs and I believe many of them won't be invited back: Gonchar, Ponikarovsky, Fedotenko, Guerin, Leopold, Cooke, Eaton, McKee. Expect a serious run at Colby Armstrong.

I haven't seen every minute of the USA games, but Brandon Dubinsky and Matt Gilroy haven't really stood out. At one point, thought I saw Chris Kreider at center and Dubi on wing. Scott Gordon should try that....On the other hand, Artem Anisimov (granted, with a strong supoporting cast) has fared well and just scored to lift Russia to a 3-0 lead over Belarus. This tourney has to be terrific for AA's development. ...Sid playing for Canada? I don't know....
