Messier, Gretzky interested in head coaching job?
Lots of anonymous sources around the league on this celebrity story that surfaced on Friday. Team not saying anything of course.
I had one on Messier, but I wasn't confident enough to warrant publishing without a second one close to No. 11. SportsNet in Canada's Nick Kypreos and John Shannon went public with theirs, and named Gretzky as well. The Daily News cited multiple unnamed sources on Messier.
Pros and cons on Messier? Some are pretty obvious, we'll examine that more in the Sunday paper....
