Mike Sauer scores in return to action

Good news on the D front. Michael Sauer, who has been kept from scrimmaging by left knee tendinitis, scored in his return as the Blue Team defeated Green 2-1. Sauer scored from the slot on a rebound of Carl Hagelin's shot.

Captain Ryan Callahan scored the other goal early in the second half of the scrimmage off a give and go with Brandon Dubinsky.  With the goaltender pulled, Artem Anisimov scored for Green with less than a minute to go.

Martin Biron was in goal for Green. Scott Stajcer and Cam Talbot split time for Blue.
