"Hank, Ryan and Dan, they’re a big part of our team, not just how we play, but the chemistry within our group and the accountability within our group, and all those guys have handled it extremely well. Hank has found his rhythm, but in Dan’s case, it never seemed to affect them. Guys were able to focus on what’s important day to day, very impressed by how everybody’s handled this."

Brassard:  "I find he's more competitive in his battles for loose pucks, I find he’s more competitive in protecting the puck; there’s definitely some chemistry with him and Poulie and Zukie together."

Staal: "He’s defending real well, but I like the fact that he’s moving the puck better. He’s been able to find an available outlet quicker and easier, for a guy that really only had two practices, the way he played against Chicago, a real solid game..."
