NBC hockey announcers will jump back and forth between conference finals series

Rather than use consistent announcing teams for the two NHL conference finals, NBC will mix and match.
So while Doc Emrick will be on play-by-play for Games 1, 2 and 5 of the Lightning-Rangers series, Tom Forslund will call Game 3 and Kenny Albert Game 4.
Meanwhile, Albert will call Games 1, 2 and 5 of the Blackhawks-Ducks series and Emrick Games 3 and 4.
Assignments for Games 6 and 7 will be determined later.
Albert also will handle Rangers radio play-by-play for every game other than Game 4 -- assuming his complex, transcontinental travel arrangements go smoothly.
Why all the shuffling? Said an NBC spokesman: "We love the idea of putting Doc, Eddie [Olczyk] and Pierre [McGuire] on both series, as it will help them take the pulse of the teams that will face off in the Stanley Cup Final."
