Greetings from Greenburgh...

Sean Avery, who has been skating here regularly during the summer, worked out with the group today. More on him in a later post. He's basically looking ahead after a season that he'd like to forget....Although old nameplates are still on some locker-room stalls,  (Eriksson, Parenteau), they won't be here....We're told Erik Christensen, yet to arrive, was married this summer...Aaron Voros left the city about a week ago and is getting settled in SoCal, Avery said, and joked that he'd be running with "my old posse"....Rochester native Ryan Callahan said he doesn't know newly-signed Buffalo native Tim Kennedy, who is expected to skate tomorrow. "I probably played against him at some point when I was younger," he said...A day after Lundqvist's likeness was plastered on the front of a Grey Line bus, I asked him what type of vehicle would be next, a subway car?  "Plane," he said.....As reported from the rookie gathering in Toronto (and retweeted), Mats Zuccarello Aasen is wearing No. 48  on his Rangers jersey and Ryan McDonagh 73. Checking whether those will remain for camp, but it's likely....
