Saw No. 17 hobbling to trainers' room, so forget him for tomorrow.

Brian Boyle (concussion in Game 5) appears closer, skated for third day, hasn't had any setbacks, says he's "progressing." Seems cheerful. Expects to skate again tomorrow and  "see how it feels. I want to get back in there, but..."Said he was more relaxed watching Game 1 than Game 7.

Brandon Prust spoke a bit about the difference in the two series. Both times they went into Game 2 after winning Game 1. Ottawa won Game 2 at MSG, though.

"I didn't think we totally deserved to lose that game," Prust said of the 3-2 loss in OT.  "They scored in the last four minutes (Nick Foligno tied the game at 15:23). "We don't want that to happen again."

Less than a dozen players and Torts were available after practice. Check back here for more later and in tomorrow's paper.
