NHLPA lists 13 NHLers in today's kiss-and-make up CBA talks after last week's meltdown in Manhattan: C. Adams, A. Aucoin (above, left), C. Campoli, M. Darche, S. Doan, R. Hainsey, J. Mayers, A. McDonald, S. Montador, B. Morrison, D. Murray, D. Winnik
I'm following the reports from afar---well, if you consider Toronto afar---because I'm up north for the Nets-Raptors game tonight, and returning home tomorrow. Newsday colleague Arthur Staple is more closely monitoring the lockout events today.
I will say this: The sports temperature here in Toronto is fairly low. The Raps are 4-18, and the customs gent at Pearson wondered why I was even here to cover them. He wasn't too pleased by the Leafs or the lockout either.
From Twitter, I see that a number of Rangers---current and alum--- will be at the huge Sandy relief concert tonight at MSG. Presumably I'll catch a little on the monitors in the ACC press box
More later...
