Prust hits jackpot: $10 mil over four with Habs

Talk about sensing the market correctly:

Credit Brandon Prust and his agent, knowing that the time was right to leave New York, but ya know what, he'll love the city of Montreal. Hope he stays healthy being the hit man there. Looking forward even more to trips there now.  No shame on Rangers for not giving him this kind of dough and term. Two years maybe.....Pruster made $800Gs this year, tripled his salary even with an off-year offensively.

Meanwhile, the Rangers continued to ink low-line muscle. Add Micheal Haley, another energy/tough guy, who has scored double digit goals twice in Bridgeport with the Isles. So it looks as if Asham, Newbury, Haley and Mike Rupp will be the battlers. And let's not forget Mr. Bickel.

I know fans are unhappy, but Flyers, Pens, Isles and Devs have their bruisers too. It's the lay of the land in the Atlantic.
