Rangers lead Jackets 1-0 after 20 minutes
Brad Richards finished a give-and-go with Carl Hagelin by zipping the puck though the legs of Steve Mason at 17:49 for a 1-0 lead in period that the Rangers dominated territorially.
It was his 18th goal of the season and 2nd in six games. Against the Blue Jackets, Richards has 20 points in 20 games (9-11-20). Shots were 10-4.
