The average asking price for tickets to the Rangers-Penguins NHL playoff series are the most expensive of any in the first round, according to TiqIQ.com, which monitors the secondary market.

For games at Madison Square Garden, the average as of Sunday night was $655.52. For Game 1 on Thursday, the average was $501.04, with a low of $242.

The average asking price for Islanders home games against the Capitals was $409.55. For Game 3 on Sunday at Nassau Coliseum, it was $359.81, with a low of $37. Game 4 on Tuesday, April 21 -- potentially the final game at Nassau Coliseum -- has an average asking price of $330.42, with a low of $141.
