RW Brandon Segal arriving from Whale
Segal, 29, who was signed as a free agent, is 6-2 and has played 102 NHL games, most recently for Tampa last season. With Arron Asham finishing the last game of a suspension vs. Boston Saturday, expect to see Segal on a fourth line with Halpern and Rupp.
Segal was 9-7-16 in 38 games, and had 60 PIMs for the Whale.
He also played with the Stars, (Brad Richards would know him from '09) and had 10 goals and 10 assists in 65 games over two seasons.
So, I guess we won't see D Stu Bickel as a forward again, he'll probably be on third pair. Guessing Eminger and Gilroy will sit in Beantown.
I know, stop speculatin'...
