Those are the personnel headlines as Rangers prepare to face the Capitals, who have won three of four, tonight at MSG...

Bickel will likely be sent to Hartford to get some minutes, as coach John Tortorella said yesterday, "bagskating" here every day doesn't help his game. Could Bickel be included in a package? Maybe. Depends on market.

J.T. Miller said his left wrist was better but still sore from the jam in the second period against Florida. He was working with Jim Schoenfeld on ice, didn't really participate in shooting drills. Can't imagine he'll play tonight, which is a loss against heavy Caps squad.

Kris Newbury is back, wearing 28, and will center either a third or fourth line, perhaps with former AHL linemate Chris Kreider. Said he believes Kredier has more confidence after last stint with Whale.

Here's the bottom six: Newbury, Boyle, Kreider, Pyatt, Asham, Powe.  Expect a shuffle. Kreider was on second PP unit yesterday with Gaborik, Hagelin, Girardi, Stralman.
