The Medical Report: Wolski, Dubinsky rested; Feds working out; Boogey on bike,
From Torts:
Wojtek Wolski: "His ribs are sore, tried to practice earlier today, but instead of trying to turn it into a lingering thing, we tried to get him some rest. Hope he can skate tomorrow."
Brandon Dubinsky: Rest for the stress fracture in left tibia that kept him out. Did take PP practice. "Just trying to be smart there."
Ruslan Fedotenko (appendectomy): "I saw him working out." Not sure if he saw doctor. Won’t play Thursday or in weekend games.
Derek Boogaard: (Dec. 9 concussion) "Boogie’s working out, not a heavy workout, riding the bike…"
On practice: "The past two weeks we had the three days, an off day and then kind of like double sessions. 5 on 5 and power play today; tomorrow 5 on 3, 4 on 3, defensive zone coverage. I thought we got sloppy, but really no time to practiuce. We had a good half-hour tape after practice. From a coaches point of view, you can see things slipping away, but the most important thing is getting them rest at this time of year."
