The Rangers announced on Friday that they have agreed to a one-year deal with forward Tim Gettinger, who played eight games for them last season but spent most of the year with AHL Hartford where he scored 10 goals and 15 assists in 45 games.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the signing of the 6-6, 218-pound Gettinger, 24, leaves the Rangers with just one remaining restricted free agent – forward Kaapo Kakko – left to sign to complete the roster.
