                Will Michal Rozsival play for the Czechs in the Worlds next month? Roster not set, but someone passed that along, although I can't imagine that he needs any extra games on those knees. Some spots will be determined after one team is eliminated tonight: (Jurcina, Hamrlik, Spacek)

             And so we are almost down to eight: Red Wings-Sharks; Blackhawks-Canucks, Penguins, Flyers, Bruins and to-be-learned later...

                 I was on the record saying there wouldn’t be any upsets except possibly Flyers over Devils, in fact, a healthy Rangers team, with Sean Avery and Ryan Callahan back for the first round might’ve eliminated the Devils. Now if the eighth-seed Habs KO the Caps in D.C., well, that’s the shocker. Can Jaro Halak stay on his stunning roll for one more game?

            Unsung heroes?  The Bruins without Marc Savard…And certainly the Yotes, without Shane Doan, for pushing the Wings to a Game 7…Pre-season, when we all roll the dice, I had predicted Pens-Ducks in the finals, then at mid-season, Pens-Hawks, so I’ll stick with that.
