If you've been following the Rangers, and yours truly, some of the below will sound familiar. But it bears repeating for the record....

Martin Biron:  “I thought it was an important signing for us, He’s played in the league, he’s a good teammate, he knows some of the guys. If you look at the Stanley Cup winners the past few years here, other than Marty Brodeur, these guys have averaged around 60, 61, 62 games. We’re hoping that we can get some work for Marty to take some of the load off of Hank, but it’s not just a start for the backup. The backup needs to win. That’s how you get into the playoffs, and maybe get a good seed, is that the backup goalie wins games.”

Henrik Lundqvist: "What did we play him, 73 last year?---That's ridiculous....We didn’t want to play him that (many). It’s just too much. It’s too much, and if he’s honest with himself, and I think that’s what’s happening now with him. It’s easy for a player to say, ‘I want to play,’ but there’s also a bigger picture. It’s the team, too. I think he’s beginning to realize and being honest with himself that this is going to be a good thing if it can arise to that. ”

Alexander Frolov:  "I’m going to give him an opportunity (with Gaborik), see if we can get his confidence back,...as we get the exhibition season going, and we’ll see where it goes from there. … I’m anxious to see whether we can get some chemistry between those guys.”  The coach added that he will rotate centers between the wings to try to find a fit.

Alright, he said,  flexing his fingers, Take 3 coming your way soon...
