Wojtek Wolski to have hernia surgery; gone 4 weeks
Wolski was sidelined twice with a groin strain, and after seeing Dr. William Meyers at Core Performance Physicians in Philly today, they decided to operate to repair a sports hernia
Wolski, who is already on IR< had two assists in six games. It is believed the Rangers will call up a spare forward from Hartford at some point. The thinking has been Carl Hagelin or Ryan Bourque, or possibly Mats Zuccarello, although there are some cap issues to deal with.
The left wing was obtained last season frpm Phoenix in exchange for Michael Rozsival
