Ian Stewart promoted by Colorado

The options at third base are very thin with the plethora of injuries and the Rockies have recalled third baseman Ian Stewart. In his first 26 at-bats, Stewart batted .077 with 11 strikeouts. At Triple-A, he batted .361 with a .750 slugging percentage with three home runs and 13 RBIs in 32 at-bats.
