Maddie Jankowski scored nine of her 20 points in the third quarter for St. Mary's in a 54-46 win over Molloy Friday night in the quarterfinals of the state CHSAA Class A girls basketball playoffs at Kellenberg.

All nine points came from three-point range, where she shot 6-for-11 for the game. St. Mary's outscored Molloy 12-2 in the third quarter to take a 37-28 lead.

Shannon Flynn, playing on a sprained right ankle, added 13 points, six rebounds, five assists and nine steals, and Sarah Kluth chipped in with eight points and seven rebounds.

St. Mary's (19-8) will play Buffalo Sacred Heart in the semifinals at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Dominic. Kyra Aloizos led Molloy with 16 points.
