Jets' Ryan guarantees Super Bowl win, again
Rex Ryan unofficially kicked off the 2011 season Friday night - a mere five days after Super Bowl Sunday - by issuing his first Super Bowl XLVI guarantee.
The Jets coach was being interviewed at halftime of the Lakers-Knicks game by MSG's Jill Martin when she read him a question from a viewer asking if he would guarantee a Super Bowl victory in the coming season.
"Yeah, but I hope this guarantee that I give this year works," he said, then added, "Last year I thought we'd win it. This year I know we'll win it."
