Miguel Montero has torn meniscus

Diamondbacks catcher Miguel Montero was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a torn meniscus in his right knee. He will need surgery and will miss a significant amount of time. Montero will undergo more tests Monday to determine the extent of the injury. Chris Snyder will catch for the Diamondbacks and becomes a good pickup.
