He connected on f 17 of 18 signficant leg strikes against Bruno Silva in a middleweight bout during the UFC Fight Night event at Boardwalk Hall Arena on March 30, 2024 in Atlantic City.

Chris Weidman originally was awarded the victory by TKO over middleweight Bruno Silva, but it later was changed to a unanimous decision after video replay showed Silva getting accidentally poked in the eye in the final exchange before referee Gary Copeland ended the fight at 2:18 minutes of the third round. Weidman was ahead on all scorecards, 30-27, in their middleweight bout at UFC Atlantic City on March 30, 2024.
