Orioles have no designated closer for now
Orioles manager Dave Trembley announced that the Orioles have no closer or set-up man and all the jobs are up for grabs. Closer Mike Gonzalez is on the disabled list. Trembley said he will go with whoever can get outs and he hopes someone seizes the job. Alfredo Simon, who was just called up, Alberto Castillo, Johnson and Cla Meredith are all in the mix for save chances. Kam Mickolio was sent down to the minors.
