Nemanja Jokic scored 21 points and Jonathan Kohler had 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead host C.W. Post to a 71-62 victory over Queens (18-11) in an ECC men's basketball semifinal. Gil Montalvo had 14 points, eight rebounds and six assists for Post (23-5), which won its 43rd straight home game. Post will host Bridgeport in the final at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Bridgeport 76, NYIT 50:Kirk Williams had 15 points and five rebounds to lead top-seeded Bridgeport (22-8) in an ECC semifinal. Dominic Scurry had 12 points and seven assists for NYIT (14-16).

Franklin & Marshall 73, USMMA 64:Kevin Kerr (Oakdale) had 17 points for host USMMA in the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament. Matt Hueber had 16 points and 10 rebounds for USMMA (24-5). James McNally had 19 points and 13 rebounds for FM (25-4).

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Bridgeport 50, Dowling 45:Meghan Lewis had 13 points and six rebounds for Bridgeport in an ECC semifinal. Bridgeport (20-8) will play Molloy in the final at noon today at C.W. Post. Hannah Krueger had 17 points for Dowling (20-9).

Molloy 65, C.W. Post 52:Kymira Woodberry (14 rebounds), Lisa Claxton and Clarissa Jones each scored 13 points for Molloy in an ECC semifinal. Caitlin Wheeler added 10 points for Molloy (20-8). Janea Aiken led Post (20-9) with 17 points and five rebounds.

BASEBALL

Rob Dyer was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and Maxx Tissenbaum was 3-for-5 with two runs scored for Stony Brook in a 6-2 non-conference win over UNC Wilmington. Nick Tropeano (1-0) earned the win, allowing two runs and striking out six in 71/3 innings for Stony Brook (2-0) in the second game of a doubleheader. Stony Brook beat Akron, 3-2, in Game 1, giving coach Matt Senk his 500th career win.

University of Maryland 10, Hofstra 3: Ethan Paquette led off the ninth inning with a solo homer for Hofstra (0-8). Matt Prokopowicz and Elliot Hagburg had an RBI apiece. John Kenny was 2-for-3 with a triple and run scored.

MEN'S LACROSSE

Nassau CC 14, Army JV 7: Kyle Smith had four goals for Nassau CC (1-0) in a non-conference win over Army (0-2). Shane Winn added two goals and an assist.

Georgetown 9, St. John's 6: Harry Kutner had two goals and an assist, Tom Manes had three assists and Garrett Mitchell added two goals, but St. John's (2-1, 0-1) fell in its Big East opener. Mitchell tied the score at 3 with 9:41 left in the first half before Georgetown scored four straight goals to pull away for good.
