Royals call up Eric Hosmer
One of the top prospects in baseball will make his major league debut tomorrow. The Royals called up first baseman Eric Hosmer and he is expected to start tomorrow. He was batting .439 at Triple-A with a .582 slugging percentage and three home runs in 118 plate appearances. Hosmer should be picked up in AL-only leagues and deeper mixed leagues. In all my leagues, he was drafted.
Kila Ka'aihue was sent to Triple-A. In 23 games, he hit just .195 with a .317 slugging percentage.
