Schedule changes for local events

Cancellations and/or schedule changes due to Hurricane Irene:

The Giants-Jets preseason game at MetLife Stadium has been moved from Saturday to Monday night at 7 p.m.

The Mets-Braves games at Citi Field for both Saturday and Sunday were postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.

The Yankees at Baltimore Saturday doubleheader has been postponed until Sunday at 1:35 and 7:35 p.m., though that's subject to change by the weather.

The Barclays golf tournament in Edison, N.J., has been reduced to 54 holes and is scheduled to conclude Saturday. Tickets for Sunday's round can be redeemed at next year's tournament at Bethpage Black.

Saturday's Arthur Ashe Kids' Day at the U.S. Open in Flushing Meadows was canceled.

Riverhead Raceway racing was canceled Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

Ducks games at Bethpage Ballpark on Saturday and Sunday have been postponed.
