Drew Storen seemed to be the closer for the Nationals coming into the season. As he continued to pitch poorly in the spring, whispers grew not only would he lose his job, but possibly be sent to the minors. Storen made the team and the plan was going to have him and Sean Burnett split the job.

Storen came into today's game against Atlanta in the eighth inning with the Nationals leading 5-1. He got two outs with a strikeout, but allowed a home run to Alex Gonzalez and Burnett came into get the final out of the eighth and retired the side in the ninth inning for the save.

Burnett should get most of the save opportunties right now and should be owned in all league. Expect Storen to become the closer at some point.
