GOLFTop seeds no match
Lee Westwood, Jim Furyk, Martin Kaymer and Rory McIlroy - seeded second through fifth entering the tournament - all lost Thursday in the second round of the Accenture Match Play Championship in Marana, Ariz.
Defending champion Geoff Ogilvy was beaten by Colombian Camilo Villegas 2 and 1. Furyk and Kaymer both lost to South Africans. Furyk was beaten by Charl Schwartzel 3 and 2, Germany's Kaymer also went down 3 and 2 to Tim Clark and McIlroy lost to England's Oliver Wilson on the 20th hole.
Two share LPGA lead
Norway's Suzann Pettersen made a tap-in eagle on the par-5 18th for a 6-under 66 and a share of the first-round lead with South Korea's M.J. Hur in the season-opening Honda PTT LPGA Thailand in Pattaya. Lorena Ochoa and Paula Creamer were at 69, but Creamer injured her left thumb on the 17th hole and withdrew.

Sammy Prahalis of Commack had 25 points and five assists - shooting 8-for-11 from the field and 8-for-8 from the line - to lead No. 7 Ohio State to an 83-78 women's basketball victory over host Wisconsin.

Shahar Peer is proving unstoppable at the Dubai Championships after the Israeli was denied a chance to play in last year's tournament in the United Arab Emirates because of security concerns.
