Blueshirts to debut third jersey
The Rangers will debut a "third" jersey in November, presumably to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the franchise. The team confirmed the plan, but did not reveal the design of the jersey. One possibility is that the diagonal letters will spell "NEW YORK" rather than Rangers. From 1978-87, players wore a blue jersey with "New York" in capital letters. Unlike many NHL teams, the Rangers have resisted drastic changes in the colors, logo and crest, but wore alternate sweaters with a Statue of Liberty head and crown on the front in the 1990s, and continue to wear them in practice.GOLF

Krstic fears FIBA suspension
Oklahoma City Thunder forward Nenad Krstic fears a basketball world championship suspension following a bench-clearing brawl during a game between Serbia and Greece.
