Stephen Strasburg makes final start in minors
Nationals phenom righthander Stephen Strasburg made his final start for Triple-A Syracuse this afternoon before making his major league debut on Tuesday against the Pirates. Strasburg, the No. 1 overall pick last season, threw five scoreless innings against Triple-A Buffalo. He threw 54 of 89 pitches for strikes as he struggled with his command at times. He allowed three hits and struck out five. He walked one and threw a wild pitch and had a 1.08 ERA at Triple-A and an ERA of 1.30 in the minors overall.
