Roger Clemens gets 100th 10K game
With his sixth-inning strikeout of Frank Thomas in the Yankees' 6-3 win over the White Sox, Roger Clemens became the third major-leaguer to strike out 10 or more batters in 100 games. He joined Nolan Ryan (215) and Randy Johnson (175) as the only pitchers to accomplish the feat. Clemens allowed eight hits, three runs and struck out 11 in seven innings and got a no-decision as the Yankees scored five runs in the ninth.
