Week 13 preview
Colts at Patriots
The touches have been inconsistent for Patriots RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis, but this is the spot to use him. He has 34 carries and two TDs the last two games and should get a lot of work against the Colts, who rank 31st against the run.
Broncos at Vikings
Continue to roll with Broncos QB Tim Tebow, who could top 200 yards passing against the 29th ranked passing defense. Broncos WR Eric Decker has four TDs in the last five games and is a good start as the Vikings have allowed 22 passing TDs.
Titans at Bills
Titans RB Chris Johnson is a matchup play and the Bills have allowed 12 rushing TDs. Johnson finally showed some flashes of his old self last week.
Raiders at Dolphins
The Dolphins rank 7th against the run, but Raiders RB Michael Bush is running too well to bench. He has 93 touches the last three games.
Jets at Redskins
Redskins Roy Helu had 30 touches last week and had 162 yards with a TD. He’s more valuable in PPR leagues and is a RB2.
Falcons at Texans
Texans WR Andre Johnson is not a must-start yet. He’s a low-end WR2 this week.
Chiefs at Bears
The Bears WR to own is Johnny Knox. QB Caleb Hanie has a good rapport with him from working with him in the preseason. Knox had 10 targets last week and had four catches for 145 yards with a TD.
Bengals at Steelers
Even in a tough matchup, Bengals WR A.J. Green is difficult to bench.
Panthers at Buccaneers
The Panthers have allowed 15 rushing TDs and don’t stop anybody. Get Buccaneers RB LeGarrette Blount in the lineup. The Buccaneers are also terrible against the run so Panthers RBs Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams are good plays.
Ravens at Browns
The good news is Browns RB Peyton Hillis looked good and held up with a full workload last week. The Ravens rank third against the run, so Hillis is a flex play.
Packers at Giants
Go with all your Packers as always. Giants WR Victor Cruz remains a must-start.
Cowboys at Cardinals
Cowboys WR Laurent Robinson has seven TDs the last five games and Miles Austin is out again Don’t bench someone that’s performing.
Rams at 49ers
If you have better options, bench Rams RB Steven Jackson. The offensive line is hurting and the 49ers haven’t allowed a rushing TD and rank No. 1 against the run.
Lions at Saints
Expect a shootout, so many players from this game should be used.
Chargers at Jaguars
The inconsistent Vincent Jackson will have a good game this week. The Chargers WR is facing a defense without their starting cornerbacks.
