7 new natural wonders of the world announced

After much voting and mystery, the new seven wonders of nature were announced Friday in Geneva.
After four months of worldwide polling by the foundation New7Wonders of Nature via telephone, text and social networks in the quest to narrow the 28 finalists to just 7, polling ended Friday (11/11/11) at 11:11 GMT (6:11 a.m. EST). The contenders were chosen by people all over the world who nominated their favorite natural sights in a similar fashion over a 2-year process.
The list of winners, however, is "provisional," according to New7Wonders of Nature, as votes are "being checked, validated and independently verified."
This is important stuff, after all, so I get why they're being so careful. Confirmed winners will be announced starting early 2012 during the Official Inauguration ceremonies.
And the provisional winners are:
The Amazon Rainforest
Halong Bay, Vietnam
Iguazu Falls, on Brazil-Argentina border
Jeju Island, South Korea
Komodo National Park, Indonesia
Puerto Princesa Underground River, the Philippines
Table Mountain in South Africa
