75 percent off airfare for holiday travel?!
Planning to travel over the holidays? Today’s your lucky day because some airlines have slashed fares for the typically pricey Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons by as much as 75 percent. Ditto for hotels, cruises and vacation packages. Some shows, too. Apparently, the travel industry is gunning for early bookings.
Travelzoo sent me a Newsflash containing the early-bird holiday deals this afternoon. Its team of experts found, researched and even test-booked (to avoid including bait-and-switches, no doubt) these offers, so you can be confident they're real. But you'll need to act quickly, as deals like these have a way of disappearing.
Some highlights:
$219 to fly from New York to Dublin on Aer Lingus
$299 for a four-night Carnival Thanksgiving cruise to the Western Caribbean -- with an ocean-view cabin
30 percent off tickets to the Radio City Spectacular
To save the most on airfare over the Thanksgiving holiday, the researchers found the least expensive days to fly to be Nov. 19, 22, 24, 26 and 29.
