Coming April 9 on the Travel Channel: a new series, "Hotel Impossible," in which a hotel industry expert works to revamp properties. The series debut episode was shot at Gurney's Inn.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines launched a "Meet and Seat" program this month that lets you see profiles of people on your flight so you can pick a seat near them. To participate, fliers share their Facebook or LinkedIn profile with other passengers on the same flights who have chosen to share their profiles. For now, the program is available only for KLM flights between Amsterdam and New York, San Francisco and Sao Paulo, Brazil, but the airline promises to expand the program to other cities.

Circus Circus has opened The Chuck Jones Experience, with interactive exhibits and displays tied to the Academy Award-winning animator's life and work on projects including "Looney Tunes," "Tom & Jerry" cartoons and the TV version of Dr. Seuss' "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."
