Amsterdam has world's first airport library
Could it be the next big thing?
Amsterdam's Airport Schiphol recently opened what is said to be the world's first airport library. The space has literature in 29 languages, plus music and films that passengers can peruse and, in some cases, download free of charge.
The library is part of a larger entertainment zone that also has lounge areas, fireplaces, television sets and a dedicated play space for children. It's open daily 90 minutes before the first flight departs.
