BOSTON: Freedom Trail
The significant role of African-Americans in the American
Revolution and the formation of this country is the focus of the 90-minute
guided tours offered by Boston's Freedom Trail Foundation during Black History
Month, ending Feb. 29. Costumed guides lead visitors, including school and
other groups, on the tours Tuesday through Sunday, starting at 11 a.m. from the
Boston Common Visitor Information Center. Reservations are required. Tickets -
$12 general admission, $10 for seniors and students, $6 for children - can be
purchased at the center, online at TheFreedomTrail.org or at the Boston Booth
in Faneuil Hall. Large groups may schedule tours for different times.
