Cruising with the Food Network

FOOD LOVERS CRUISE The Food Network is taking to the seas. Chefs and culinary experts from the television network are hosting an 11-night Mediterranean and trans-Atlantic cruise aboard the Celebrity Silhouette that will depart Rome Oct. 22, calling in Cagliari, Sardinia; Palma de Mallorca, Mallorca; and Lisbon before arriving in New York on Nov. 2.

Chef Anne Burrell is among those who will teach hands-on classes devoted to making homemade pasta and paella. Culinary demonstrations, flavors of the Mediterranean barbecue, wine seminars and Food Network-themed cocktail parties also are planned. Rates from $1,897 a person (based on double occupancy).
