The Windham Hill Inn, a Relais & Chateaux property in southern Vermont, has an upscale stay-and-ski package through April 1. The deal starts at $710 double and includes two nights' lodging (nightly rate typically from $255); one dinner for two at the Windham Hill Restaurant; three-course gourmet breakfasts; and two adult lift tickets to Stratton Mountain (value $69-$87 each) or Bromley Mountain ($49-$65). Taxes not included. Blackout dates are Feb. 17-20.
In honor of its 20th anniversary, Regent Seven Seas Cruises is introducing freebies on 2012 cruises. Specials include free land programs or a hotel package (property is based on the category of suite). For example, on Alaska cruises, passengers can take a Mendenhall Glacier river float at the Juneau port (normally $179), a sea otter and wildlife tour in Sitka ($179) and a George Inlet cruise-crab feast in Ketchikan ($179).
