Harry Potter exhibit returns to NYC; tickets on sale

The movies may have wrapped, but the Harry Potter phenomenon continues to soar like Buckbeak the Hippogriff. Proof abounds, from the studio tour in London to "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" at Universal Orlando, but you need not travel quite so far to scratch that fan itch.
The touring "Harry Potter: The Exhibition," which premiered in April 2009, returns to New York, updated and ready for muggles of all ages Nov. 3, 2012, to April 7, 2013. Tickets are on sale now.
In Discovery Times Square, a 14,000-square-foot space will be filled with hundreds of costumes and props from the films, including the latest, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -- Part 2." Visitors will wander settings inspired by familiar locations including the Great Hall and Hagrid's hut, checking out iconic pieces (those glasses, for instance) and getting some hands-on experiences (touching a young Mandrake).
